Describe what you would like us to do:

We already discussed this on Flock 2024, that it would be really nice to have AWX deployed in Fedora Infrastructure. As it provides a nice interface for working with ansible and provides a log from each ansible run + API to call.

This ticket is to investigate what needs to be done to get it running in Fedora Infra.

Here is the plan what I would like to do:

  • Get local instance of AWX running
  • Clone the Fedora Infra ansible repository
  • See how this will work

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Not urgent

I spent some time on this today, trying to get working the docker deployment. It seems that it's not in good state, the latest stable failed in multiple steps and even with introducing few fixes it was still failing after building the containers.

I will try the operator tomorrow as it's the recommended way, but need to get minikube running on my local machine.

@kevin Forgot that we have the ticket already, you are right this is a duplicate of that.
