Describe what you would like us to do:

We’re looking to evaluate Open Data Hub as an alternative to our current approach of directly accessing the PostgreSQL database. We’d like your help deploying Open Data Hub on the CommuniShift project: communishift-commops-analytics.

What we would like to ask from infra if you can support us by:

  1. Run "DSC Initialization" from the ODH Operator needs to be ran first to prep the project, but needs to be ran as a cluster-admin.
  2. Run "Data Science Cluster" from the ODH Operator, but needs to be ran as a cluster-admin.

Both of these can be found on this page: https://console-openshift-console.apps.fedora.cj14.p1.openshiftapps.com/k8s/ns/communishift-commops-analytics/operators.coreos.comv1alpha1ClusterServiceVersion/opendatahub-operator.v2.22.0

The configuration information is available here: https://opendatahub.io/docs/installing-open-data-hub/#installing-odh-components_installv2

For our purposes, we only need really the Jupyter notebooks component. We won’t be using AI training or model deployments.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

2025-01-31 would be great! This should be a low risk activity to deploy.
