Describe what you would like us to do:

I have been notified about this wiki change:

https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Changes/Openldap_25/Vagrant&oldid=628051

This does seem weird to me and I am not sure how to revert the change. The discussion link at Vagrant change also redirect to the new weird location.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

@spichugi did you have a script go crazy or something? https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Spichugi&offset=&limit=250&target=Spichugi

No scripts! I just broke it manually (and unintentionally).

Yesterday evening (Pacific time) I've created:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Openldap_25

But... Something went wrong, apparently.
I used https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/program_management/changes_guide/ as a reference.

The thing I was searching for some time - is a 'Create' button on the wiki.

This is the logic I followed:

  1. Open https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/EmptyTemplate
  2. Click View source and copy the content;
  3. 'How do I propose a new change?' - doesn't have the info about how to create the page so I thought it should be something intuitive...
  4. As all of the changes exist under '/Changes' page, I went to the page;
  5. I haven't found 'Create' button there so I clicked on 'Discussion'. And I saw the 'Create' button!
  6. So I clicked on the button and copy-pasted the template;
  7. After the job was done, I created the page;
  8. I saw it exists under 'Discussions' still (not the proper page). So I clicked 'Move';
  9. I moved the page to the right location - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Openldap_25

I wonder if I missed something obvious in the guide or the docs... And I'm sorry I messed it somehow.

ok. I see what happened here I think.

You moved "Talk:Changes" to the page you were wanting to make, but that moves all the talk pages for all things in the "Changes" space under the new page. ;(

I tried to move them back, but then it got into a weird redirect loop. ;(

How much we do care about these old talk pages?
I am not sure how to fix them currently. ;(

None. None care. In fact, if we could disable talk pages in the Changes namespace, I'd be very happy. I'd rather keep the discussion on the devel list.

https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/848 should disallow editing them. I can land it after freeze. :)
