To resolve the variable "foo" I would expect something like

systemctl --help |grep units to see what units i do have available alias what and how i can get the missing information, as grep is mentioned above.

Also a restriction for size of the Journal alias how to see the space it occupies and a cleanup command example would be useful as discussed here:

"For more info read man journalctl" should in my opinion not be mentioned. Better would be one ore two more examples how to find/search information in the help and manpages to using successfully journalctl. In the end the user already is reading a doc ... a quck doc (because the man page is to overloaded with information and or the user is not aware of filtering information yet).

Absolutely agree, Scope and purpose for the quick doc itself.
