Delete branch "discussion"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This is mostly a significant rewrite of
contact.adoc
, plus some other changes in other pages.rebased onto
ee96a2d0c7
I don't think this qualifies for inclusion here. I'd argue it's not a change in meaning, just a change in implementation of existing meaning. "Did the Council have to vote on this change?" is a reasonable bar, IMO
We should take this opportunity to tighten the language a bit. "If you have a specific proposal for the Council..." is too tight, but it'd be helpful to make it more clear that tickets are for actions, not discussions. I'd rather have people start "this should be a ticket" threads on Discussion than open "this should be a Discussion thread" tickets, if that makes sense.
1 new commit added
This is just a change of implementation, not governing policy
1 new commit added
new wording encouraging discussion over filing tickets
+1 from me
